About Van Dexter Design

At Van Dexter Design, we pride ourselves on lasting quality. Our ability to assist you, in all phases of your project from concept to completion, is just one of many things that set us apart from our competition. As one of very few “Certified Kitchen Designers” located in southern New Jersey, Erik Van Dexter has the expertise and reputation to provide you with a design for your project that will be certain to tempt your culinary palate. The “CKD” designation is given to individuals by the National Kitchen & Bath Association that have demonstrated a high level of expertise and ethical conduct within the kitchen and bath industry.

Our fresh new 1100 square foot Design Showroom, located at 116 Densten Road in Sewell, (Washington Township.) New Jersey, has been widely recognized as being one of the “finest showrooms around” for anyone looking to renovate their home. The showroom features several kitchen vignettes, coupled with bathroom, service bar cabinetry and a stunning entertainment / wall unit, crafted from “Birdseye Maple,” that is sure to amaze you. Our showroom is unique in the fact that we are also cabinetmakers. There is absolutely no limit to what we can create. We are not confined to a manufacturer's catalog or offering as to what can be done.

Along with the design, many selections are available, from the species of wood and styles of cabinets, to the type of finish you desire. All are right here for you to see, feel, and compare. Each display also features some of the finest appliances. You can select your new room, appliances, and counter surfaces in a relaxed atmosphere with our courteous staff. From the lighting, to the hardware, a vast array of choices is available to complement your personality.

Here at Van Dexter Design, we have developed a unique concept where our production plant is located at the same location as our showroom. This allows very close communication and interaction between design staff and production staff for intricate details on each project. Additionally, you can see your cabinetry as it is being constructed, allowing you to monitor every step of the way during the creation of your project.
